Make sure you :+fav: the news article!
So you've written something freaking awesome. You've edited a million times (and if you haven't, turn around and go do that. Right now). You think you maybe want to take the leap and try publishing something. But you have no idea where to start.
Well, this is a good place to be.
This the journal where I'll be keeping a running list of all the publishing resources I find, both on and off dA. Most of it will probably be related to literary journals, since that's the stage where I'm at in my literary career, but I'll add things about book publishing as I find them.

a) I didn't know it wasn't the correct forum. It says everything literacy related so I assumed that included literacy related commissions. I've never used the forums to seek out a commission before. b) I'm not the most descriptive person hence why I'm trying to commission a writer. I did not know there was more then one type of erotica. c) I didn't post how much Im willing to pay because I've never commissioned a writer before and wouldn't want to insult them or rip myself off. I've commissioned many drawings on deviant from many different artists and I've never once been asked to set the price. It's always been they tell me how much they want and I pay it plus a good tip. d) There was no need to be rude and start making statements in point form. I am not a child and I ask that you don't treat me as one. I'm sure you could have told me all that in a friendlier way and a simple "Oh my bad thanks for letting me know" is all you would have received as a response. e) Take my advice and stop talking down to people like your somehow better then them because I can promise you it's not going to make you many friends. From the looks of your comments you've been rude to quite a few people.
a) Learn to use the reply button. Or am I to assume that you've moved this to my profile because your thread's been locked? If that was the case, it was locked for a reason and perhaps you should have left it as it is. b) If using bullet points in a response is your idea of "rude," you've got some incredibly warped perspective. c) I have plenty of friends, thank you very much. They're just mature enough that they don't throw fits when their mistakes are pointed out to them.
a) It has not been locked I just posted on your profile to add to the list of people who hate you in your comments. b) Using point form statements IS rude because it comes off as though your talking down to the person in a rude manner. (Which you obviously do judging by some of the comments I read) Your poor choice of words doesn't help either. Is it that hard for you to be polite when talking to other people? I gave you no reason to act that way. c)I'm sure you do have a few internet friends who are probably just as rude as you but it still doesn't give you the right to talk down to people. Mature adults don't talk down to people for making mistakes they either ignore the other persons situation and MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS or or POLITELY help them out. Don't mistake my intolerance for rudeness as throwing a fit I'm simply making an example of you like someone should have a long time ago. The internet doesn't need self important assholes like you. d) I didn't want to be rude to you but you gave me no choice.

So you appear to know what a mature adult acts like, but here you are still whining because somebody was mean to you on the internet. Of course it couldn't be because you're an immature brat puffing up over your easily-bruised ego--no of course not! It's to teach me a lesson! And how effective that lesson is. I'm beside myself with remorse right now. I'll never use bullet points ever again.
